Alia gets down to male bashing
The actress sweated it out as she recently shot for a song for the Gauri Shinde film. We’ve got you the details and pics from the set
Alia Bhatt was shooting a song for Gauri Shinde’s next at Mehboob Studios in Bandra on Thursday and SpotboyE was there to get you all the details.
“The idea of the song is to show Alia as a filmmaker shooting a track. So, it’s a song being shot within a song,” says a source close to the project.
The setting was what caught our eye: the male artistes were handcuffed and tied, and the girls were punching them with boxing gloves on while the song blared. The idea was to portray male bashing in its literal sense.
Alia, dressed casually (in a look very similar to that of Gauri Shinde’s), was playing the part of a director to the T, as she gave out instructions and captured the goings-on on her camera.
Choreographed by Feroz, the song’s shoot continued the following day – with a change in the costumes. The girls were all dressed as brides in white and the guys as grooms, in black suits and funky hairdos. Alia and Gauri called it a day only late in the evening.
